P.K. Subban left Sunday’s World Championship pre-tourny game between Canada and Switzerland after suffering what’s being called a lower body injury after a collision with Swiss defenceman Luca Sbisa during the first period.
Preliminary reports indicate that the injury is not related to the back problems reportedly suffered by P.K. during his season with the Canadiens. The injury is being called “not serious” and he is expected to be back in Canada’s lineup before long.
Canada ended up winning the goal 2-1 in a shootout.
